I remember when I was single, a student living in Switzerland, subscribed to several coaches’ newsletters. While I enjoyed reading about dating and romantic relationships, reading sales emails alone did not significantly impact my dating life.

Newsletters are for the upsell; that is the marketing approach. I challenge this concept and aim to provide more value than just an upsell.

After graduating with a degree in clinical psychology and as a certified dating and romantic relationship coach, sitting at my desk—newlywed in Ireland and a brand-new business owner—I was asking myself these questions:

• What newsletter would I have really needed back then, when I was single and dreaming of my soulmate?
• What was it that moved me from reading random newsletters from various coaches to meeting amazing men and experiencing real-life transformation?
• How did I manage to meet and marry my husband in 9 months?
• What do I want to create with my email list that gives women the opportunity to do the same?

This was my answer:

A free self-study course, leading through my content in a structured way, with the blog articles building on each other. Minimum time online and minimum screen time, yet maximum use of all the internet has to offer. Creating real-life changes and transformation in women’s dating experience, and having them see results.

I can confidently say that my email list will be the only one you need to subscribe to in order to achieve results. I recommend decluttering and following one, maybe two—at the absolute maximum, three—mentors at a time. It is what I do. Information is free, and most of us are overstimulated by it; implementation is what makes the difference.

Here is what I believe and initially explain to a new client:

It is not about how much you know, but how much transformation you achieve through implementation. It is better to know less but to see results using the information you have. Knowing things in theory but not having the love life you want is as good as not knowing, because the result remains the same.

Most of the women I work with are highly educated and are used to processing a lot of information in their heads and in theory. This work is different: Information is 5-10% of the transformation. The real change comes from implementing what I teach in real life, which is 90% of the work. The tools are there to practise consistently, and that takes you one step forward at a time.
